Shape Shifter features real time movement. What is real time movement? Real Time movement allows the shapes to move in real time, 1 pixel at a time, opposed to the traditional tetris movement were shapes only move 1 row or 1 column at a time. Arcade Convoy also has animated shapes that spin in real time too! This real time movement lets players play a more realistic game, with very smooth movement.

Shape Shifter has 22 all new Shape Shifter Challenges and Convoys. And 34 game types, that makes over 56 different game modes to choose from. Not to mention in the practice you can make your own game types.

And what is the difference between a challenge, convoy you might ask. Well a Challenge constantly changes all the Shape Shifter options, cheats, and game types. This allows for a very action packed game that can change at any second. For instance, one second you can be playing with one shape, and the next second 3 other shapes will fall down and be playing with you.

While a Convoy is like a challenge except that you need to prove that you can play with any game type, cheat or option for an extended period of time before you can move on.

Shape Shifter also uses Ghost Shapes, This is a new feature were human or cpu controlled shapes can release up to 4 ghost shapes into the arena. Ghost shapes are usually released in 3 different ways. Blitz shapes, Dogpile shapes, and Spinoff shapes.

Shape Shifter features dozens of options and cheats, in an easy to use, options screen. These options include,changing between 3 different scrolling modes, ghost shadow, mentor mode were a ghost shape shows players their best landing, Give n Go mode, the ability to change the percentage of each shape that players get, and the ability to activate up to 4 shapes in the same arena, and assign them as human controlled, cpu controlled, or a free shape. Plus dozens of other options. You can even turn real time movement on or off for that classic feeling game.
